Peter G. Mielzynski Sr. - Chairman
Peter G. Mielzynski Sr. has 53 years experience in the wines and spirits industry in Canada. As President of McGuinness Distillers, he helped build McGuinness to be a leading distillery including subsidiary companies - Acadian Distillers, Central Canadian Distillers, Fraser Valley Distillers and Calona Wines.
Peter Mielzynski Sr. also built the McGuinness agency business where successful brands like Donini wines, Yago wines, Blue Nun, Wyborowa Vodka, Jack Daniels, Schroder & Schyler, St. Remy Brandy, Grant's Scotch and many other brands were built.
In 1979, after McGuinness was purchased by Standard Brands, Peter Mielzynski left McGuinness voluntarily and founded PMA Canada. In the past 29 years, PMA has built numerous brands including Hillebrand Estates Winery, where Peter Mielzynski was Chairman and instrumental in building Hillebrand into one of the most premium successful wineries in Canada. |
