Chris Collins - Provincial Sales Manager - NFLD & NS
Chris Collins was born on February 23rd, 1977 and grew up in the small town of Carmanville in Newfoundland. Chris graduated from high school and went on to pursue post secondary education at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, where he studied Business Administration and Political Science. During University, Chris was a member of the University Student Union for two years and began work in 1999 in the beverage alcohol industry promoting Appleton Jamaica Rum as well as beer and coolers.
Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2002 from MUN and was hired full time by PMA Canada a short while after. Chris moved to Nova Scotia in the summer of 2002 and started work as a Sales Representative for PMA Canada covering Dartmouth to Cape Breton.
Chris was promoted to Provincial Sales Manager of Nova Scotia in January of 2004 and again promoted to become the Provincial Sales Manager of Newfoundland and Labrador in April 2005 as well.
Chris has eight years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry with time spent in both on and off premise accounts as well as time in provincial liquor boards. He currently manages a team of 6 in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, and focuses mainly on provincial brand marketing and sales as well as brand forecasts, stock levels and distribution. Chris still conducts on and off premise account sales calls in Halifax and Dartmouth and covers the provincial territory to Cape Breton and Amherst. |
