Peter Mielzynski Jr. - President & C.E.O.
Peter has more than 32 years experience in the Wine, Spirit and Beer Industry in Canada having worked at McGuinness Distillers, the L.C.B.O and PMA.
In 1982, Peter opened up the Alberta market for PMA and was successful, as a representative, in building a solid base of future sales in this important Canadian market. From 1986 - 1990, he became Martini & Rossi Canadian Brand Manager, responsible for all M&R group brands which included Martini & Rossi Italy, Gaston de Lagrange Cognac, Offley Ports, Monistrol Wines, Calvados Boulard and Noilly Prat. In 1991, Peter was selected as Executive Vice-President for PMA in charge of sales and marketing throughout Canada and in 1994, the PMA Board of Directors appointed Peter as President & C.E.O. Also in 1994 Peter became a shareholder and Director of PMA.
Peter is a strong believer in education and has taken, several executive education courses including, accounting and financial management, marketing management, leading and managing people and negotiation and decision making strategy, executing breakthrough strategy. In January 2007 he earned his certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School.
Peter graduated from Clarkson University (Potsdam - New York) with a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in 1982 and is a member of the Who's Who among students in American Universities and Colleges.
His interests include travel, hockey, skiing and history. Peter is married to Agatha Mielzynski and has two children, Helena and Stefan.
