Probably one of the best Italian wines we have brought in many years. Collazzi is an estate owned by the Frescobaldi family in Tuscany. With great pride they boast that in all their vintages not one has scored under a 92 with the Wine Spectator. Lamberto Frescobaldi describes this wine as his future masterpiece. It is described by WS as “Complex aromas of berries, currants, and black liquorice. Full bodied with lots of fruit and velvety tannins. Long rich finish 92 points! This is a true “Super Tuscan” that is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc. Taking reservations as it is limited.
