Hendrick’s Gin is set to Break Global Records with their Simultaneous Spectacle in the Sky and Street at the 2018 Festival international de Jazz de Montréal.
Never one for the usual, it comes as no surprise that Hendrick’s Gin has pushed the boundaries of peculiarity, fusing music with spectacle, jazz with gin and score with soar. For the first time in Festival International De Jazz De Montreal history, Hendrick’s Gin has taken to the skies with the E.L.E.V.A.T.U.M. and to the streets with our one-of-a-kind, cucumber keyed C.O.R.G.A.N providing the soundtrack to this one-of-a-kind spectacle.
“Hendrick’s Gin is the go-to purveyor of the peculiar,” comments Beth-Anne Perry, Senior National Brand Manager, Hendrick’s Gin. “E.L.E.V.A.T.U.M and C.O.R.G.A.N embody the curious and peculiar nature of the brand and we look forward to revealing the simultaneous spectacles to the world.”
Stationed at the Quartier des Spectacles for the first two days of the world-famous festival, the 65-foot E.L.E.V.A.T.U.M. (Elevating, Levitating, Exceptionally, Voluminous, Amazingly, Towering, Uplifting, Mobile) will whisk lucky golden tickets holders 44 ¼ cucumbers sky high, in a wonderous world of cucumbers and roses against the Montreal sky.
The C.O.R.G.A.N (Cucumber Organ of Remarkably Glorious Auditory Nirvana), designed in a style that is reminiscent of the Victorian era with an imaginative Hendrick’s Gin twist featuring real whole cucumbers for keys, will accompany the E.L.E.V.A.T.U.M providing the curious score for the whimsical wonder.
“It’s not a Hendrick’s Gin affair without the extraordinary,” comments Alvin P. Ramchurn, National Brand Ambassador, Hendrick’s Gin. “We have gone above and beyond to bring you a simultaneous spectacle of sky and street in the oddly curious way of Hendrick’s Gin. Adding the whimsy and wonder is what we do.”
Both marvels will be located for viewing and wonderment at the Hendrick’s Gin VIP Departure Lounge where guests bearing the enchanting golden tickets will have access to the special Hendrick’s Gin Air Departure Lounge complete with music, entertainment and the world’s smallest Hendrick’s teacup gin and tonics garnished with miniature cucumbers.
With the E.L.E.V.A.T.U.M moving onwards and upwards after its two-day extravaganza, the Hendrick’s Gin Jazz Cucumber Organ is set to be displayed at the festival for an additional eight-day appearance.
