John Donohue is a seasoned industry leader with nearly 25 years of sales, category management, trade marketing, and executive level experience. John most recently served Senior Vice President of Breakthru Beverage Canada where he led the integration of the broker business with Diageo Canada in July 2014 and oversaw sales execution for a team of 120+ dedicated sales associates across the country. In this position, John successfully recruited new suppliers to the Breakthru Beverage Canada portfolio.
Prior to his role with Breakthru Beverage Canada, John was a tenured employee of Wirtz Beverage Illinois, serving as Director of Trade Development for the Regal Division. In that role, he successfully led the channel planning, pricing, and execution reporting for the Diageo portfolio across Illinois. Previously, he spent 10 years with Diageo North America where held various leadership positions including business planning and strategy, regional marketing, and national customer marketing.
