About Jägermeister:
Jägermeister is a 35% ABV., herbal liqueur that was created by Curt Mast in 1934 in Wolfenbüttel, Germany.
56 different natural ingredients create the unique taste experience that has made Jägermeister so famous. Selected herbs, blossoms, roots and fruits from all over the world come together in this secret recipe and is aged for up to a year in German oak barrels, before bottling. A total of 383 quality checks are performed before a Jägermeister bottle is filled with the final product, resulting in a herbal liqueur that is unique on both quality and taste.
Today, more than 130 years after the company was founded, the family traditions live on. Now, as it was then, Jägermeister is wholly owned by the Mast family.
