Robert Giraud Château Timberlay Bordeaux Supérieur
Bordeaux, Red Wine

About Robert Giraud Château Timberlay Bordeaux Supérieur:
Château Timberlay is an estate owned and managed by Maison Giraud, a proud and successful Bordeaux winemaker. The origin of Château Timberlay goes back to the 14th century. The château was destroyed during the French Revolution, later rebuilt, and has been completely renovated since the Second World War.
Tasting Notes:
This clear, bright wine is a superb ruby-red colour, with a complex nose of soft fruit (blackberry, black currant, and strawberry), and attractive woody and spicy overtones. Soft and full-bodied, with good structure and acidity, as well as very elegant tannin, it is very long on the palate, with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. Serve at cellar temperature with rack of lamb or beef wellington.
